Your personal data collected by MODEMA may be processed in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth under KVKK and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK, for the following purposes:

  • Carrying out the necessary operational activities by the Company’s business units and executing related business processes in order to enable relevant persons to benefit from the products and services offered by the Company
  • Planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities aimed at offering and recommending the Company’s products and services to relevant persons by customizing them according to their preferences, usage habits, and needs
  • Carrying out the necessary work by the Company’s business units and executing related business processes to ensure the continuation of the Company’s commercial activities
  • Planning and implementation of the Company’s commercial and/or business strategies
  • Ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial security of the Company and the persons having a business relationship with the Company

Your personal data may be transferred by MODEMA in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth under KVKK and within the scope of the personal data transfer conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, to:

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, data subjects have the following rights:

  • To learn whether their personal data are processed
  • To request information if their personal data have been processed
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the personal data are used in accordance with such purpose
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad
  • To request the correction of personal data if they are incomplete or inaccurate
  • To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth under KVKK
  • To request notification of the above operations to third parties to whom the personal data have been transferred
  • To object to any unfavorable result arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems
  • To request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of personal data

You may submit your requests regarding these rights to MODEMA Forest Products Furniture Decoration and Machinery Industry and Trade Inc.. Your requests will be concluded free of charge within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, the Company reserves the right to charge a fee in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
